The Fetal Medicine and Genetic center operates exclusively for Gynaecological Scans, Prenatal Examinations and Treatments.

Our center was established in Sharjah early 2003, but from 2006 we are based in Dubai Healthcare City.

We have patients visiting our center from all over UAE as well as GCC countries in addition to some other countries.  We see an average of 3500 patients a year.

The latest 4D Ultrasound Technology (GE-Voluson 730 Expert) is provided and we are able to perform extensive Fetal assessment.

As the Specialists of Fetal Medicine, we are giving you an expert evaluation of your baby’s development from the young pregnancy until birth, early finding of abnormal development, genetic screening for known and hidden disorders,    follow up of high risk and normal pregnancies.

 We as well receive referrals from the primary care physicians for our specialist opinion, after the exam, detailed explanation and report is provided for both patient and referring doctor.

In our center we are giving you a chance to meet and bond with your baby from the very beginning of it’s life. In the spirit of teamwork, we are here to help patients make this important time in their lives the most enjoyable.

Dr Afshin Pour Mirza

Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Fetal Medicine

Dr. Pour Mirza has extensive experience in this field since 1995 in different Prenatal Centers in Europe. Further qualifications are Facharzt for Obstetrics-Gynaecology and DEGUM II (German Qualification for Prenatal Medicine).
